Last day of work

March 11, 2011 A.M.

Today has been amazing. I got to work on the roof and I feel like a finally got the hang of swinging a hammer. We got off of work early, which was great, but really bittersweet since it was our last day. We got some really great pictures with everyone! Since we got off so early we actually got to wash up and get ready to go out, which was nice for a change. We all went to Bayside Marketplace, which is this really big outdoor market place. It has lots of stores and outdoor restaurants. We all ate at Tradewinds Bar and Grill, which was delicious. Many people tried new things like mussels, clams, even octopi, which was surprisingly good. The restaurant looked out over the water and all the boats that were docked, which was really interesting to see, and the music that was coming from the boats were nice background noise. After dinner everyone walked around for a little bit and went shopping. Bayside had a lot of stores, from the usual Wet Seal, or Gap, and then it had numerous boutiques that had unique things to buy. After a while we all decided to meet up at Starbucks to head back to the hotel. We had a meeting once we got back to talk about everything that had happened this past week. It became really sentimental towards the end, because everyone had become such good friends.
